Your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to your use of our mobile application (the "Application"), the related services we provide ("Services"), and this website. Please read this Policy carefully and let us know if you have any questions.

What information we collect

Personal information

We do not collect, share, sell, send, store or use any personal information while you download or use our products, except the personal information you submit when you email us, send an error report, or participate in online surveys and other activities.

Personal information you submit is used only to: help us develop, deliver and improve our products and services; and manage online surveys and other activities you've participated in.

Non-personal information

Non-personal information refers to information that cannot be linked to a specific individual, such as device type, device manufacturer, operating system version, application usage frequency, and memory size.

We may collect non-personal information from time to time to better understand users' needs, fix bugs, and improve our products and user experience. If non-personal information is ever combined with personal information, we treat the combined data as personal information.

How we use your information

Personal information: since we do not collect personal information, we do not use it in any way beyond what's described above.

Non-personal information: we may use non-personal information for internal purposes, to measure usage patterns, to understand trends among our users, and to improve the Application. We do not combine non-personal information with personal information (for example, combining a name with a device identifier).

How your information may be disclosed

Personal information: we do not store personal information and therefore do not disclose it.

Non-personal information: we may disclose non-personal information for any purpose, without combining it with personal information.

Third-party services

To improve the app, we share anonymous usage information with the following third-party tools. Follow each link to read how they handle privacy:

Google Drive (optional scheduled backups)

If you turn on scheduled backups, the app can optionally upload your backup files to your own Google Drive account, using your Google sign-in. This requires your explicit permission and uses Google's restricted drive.file scope — the app can only see and manage files it created itself, never your other files or folders in Drive. Backup files uploaded this way are stored in your own Google account, not sent to us or to any third party we control.

Device permissions

Depending on your device, the app may request the following permissions. Once granted, a permission can be revoked at any time from your device settings; doing so may affect the app's ability to function as described.

SMS/MMS permission

Used to read SMS and MMS messages on your device so they can be exported and saved locally as a backup or PDF.

Contacts permission

Used to look up contact names so conversations can be labeled with a name instead of only a phone number.

California residents

We do not disclose your information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes unless you first affirmatively agree to that disclosure. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes; contact us below and reference "California Disclosure Information."

Sensitive information

Please do not send us, or disclose through the app or this site, any sensitive personal information (for example, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, health, sexual orientation, or criminal history).
